S/R: THE SILENT REVOLT OF NDC YOUTH IN DAMONGO.
Joe Osman The unfolding twist within the NDC grassroots in the Damongo Constituency is both striking and politically significant. Over the years, the NDC’s popularity in Damongo grew tremendously, particularly after the party introduced John Dramani Mahama as running mate to the late John Evans Atta Mills Since then, a strong political sentiment has taken root among many residents most especially among the Gonja people and that any Gonja who refuses to support John Mahama and the NDC is being ungrateful. This long-standing belief fueled deep loyalty among the youth, many of whom invested their hopes and ambitions in the party, convinced that the NDC alone held the key to transforming the constituency and improving their future. However, now that the party has returned to power, a new reality appears to be setting in.
