DMC: Truck Overturns on Lingbinsi Road, Renewing Calls for Urgent Road Repairs

 



Residents of Lingbinsi in the Daboya-Mankarigu Constituency have renewed calls for urgent intervention on the township road following an accident involving a cargo truck on Thursday morning.

According to eyewitness accounts shared on social media, the truck, which was transporting goods, overturned on the poor stretch of road, causing disruption to traffic and drawing concerns from community members. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of fatalities, although efforts were underway to salvage the cargo and clear the road.

The incident has once again highlighted the deteriorating condition of roads within the constituency, particularly in Lingbinsi, where residents say motorists continue to face challenges due to the poor state of the road network.

Community members are appealing to government authorities, local leaders, and stakeholders across the political divide to prioritize road rehabilitation projects in the area. They argue that improved roads are essential for transportation, trade, access to social services, and the overall development of the constituency.
