OPEN LETTER TO MR. STEPHEN AYESU NTIM NPP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN

Image
Dear Sir, I hope this letter finds you well and in good spirits.  First and foremost, I would like to extend my warm greetings to you and again commend you on your show of leadership to unite the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party toward the agenda of Breaking the 8.  Sir, I seek your keen attention to this issue being addressed in this letter. A few months after the executive assumed office, one of the pressing issues faced by the party was the revenues accrued to the party. After several assessments led by your good self and your able executives identified non-payment of dues by members as the root cause and hence propelled a cogent solution by implementing the dues system to mitigate this problem. To the best of my knowledge, I understand that the main motive behind this dues payment was to make the party financially dependent and again enable the party to eliminate the “Y3n Nya Hwee” syndrome which is causing a lot of apathy within the party through the dues payment ...

They took advantage of the economic situation around that time and told lies to Ghanaians, and that is how come they won the 2008 elections’’ he stated. He continued; ‘’The few cha...

Image
In a disturbing incident, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Daboya vandalized the campaign banners of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, Hon. Samuel Tika Yeyu, and presidential candidate,  H. E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. This senseless act of destruction has sparked widespread condemnation from the NPP, and the people of Daboya/Mankarigu. This act signified their sense of frustration and looming defeat as a result of the candidature of Hon. Samuel Tika Yeyu and Dr. Bawumia, which also affirms our slogan of "breaking the 8" and retaining the DMC seat. A political party with a clear policy and message would never resort to such tactics, as it undermines the very fabric of democracy and peaceful coexistence. The NDC's actions not only violate the rights of their political opponents but also threaten the harmony and unity that the people of Daboya/Mankarigu have worked so hard to maintain. The Dream Patriots and the NPP in Daboya/Mankarigu strongly cond...

He declared that the NDC would physically prevent potential voters from registering if they (the NDC) deemed them unqualified. Despite repeated warnings and appeals from stakeholders advising the NDC against such illegal actions, the party appears to be ignoring these calls for a lawful and smooth registration process in Damongo. Following the directives of their parliamentary candidate, the NDC has started targeting members of the Fulbe community, preventing them from accessing registration centers. This blatant discrimination has prompted the leadership of the Fulbe community to appeal to the NDC. However, the NDC has continued to flagrantly violate the constitutional rights of these individuals. On the most widely listened to radio station in the Savannah Region, the Fulbe commun...
