The Policemen are bias, I don't trust them: Gallus affirms

The former Member of Parliament for the Damongo constituency Adam Mutawakilu Gallus on Wednesday was accused by the Secretary for the New patriotic party in Savannah Mr. Kadir Abdul Rahman through a press briefing. The constituency chief scribe openly alleged that the former MP visited one of the registration centres in Damongo and exhibited a violent behavior that led to exchanging words with the Police men on duty there.

Today, Thursday on the Savannah Nde(This is Savannah) super morning show on the widely listened to radio station in Savannah Region the former MP is on record to have accepted the fact that he indeed exchanged words with police officers on duty there and also arrogantly repeated the assertion that he doesn't trust the Ghana Police Service to discharge their duties professionally.

The MP on same platform openly agreed that it's because they don't trust the Ghana Police Service and the law that's why they're not going by the law. He made this claim when the host of the show asked why they will try to physically stop people from registering instead of following the due procedure by challenging with the challenge form. He retreated the assertion earlier that he won't sit for the law to bite him so he'll continue to physically prevent people he deem not qualified to register. This is an act of lawlessness preached by a former MP who wants to come back and represent the constituents of Damongo at the Parliament house.

This act of the former MP contrast that of the current member of Parliament for the constituency, lawyer Samuel A. Jinapor who is calling for calm and asking everyone to act lawfully to avoid creating mayhem.
