SLAY QUEENS EXPLOITING GONJALAND ISSUES TO BOLSTER SUPPORT FOR MAHAMA, MOHAMMED ISSAH.

 



The Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party in Savannah Region, Mohammed Issah has accused slay queens of choosing to exploit Gonjaland issues, leveraging tribal sentiments to bolster support for former president John Mahama, the presidential candidate of the opposing National Democratic Congress (NDC). This dangerous tactic not only risks creating tensions but also distracts from the substantive issues that should drive political discourse.

The Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party in Savannah Region made this allegation when he went on Facebook with a live video session for about an hour to respond to unfounded allegations and peddled falsehood on the person of he the secretary, the regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party in Savannah Region Professor Kalamonia and the Member of Parliament for Damongo constituency cum Minister for Land and Natural resources on the issue of Gonjaland politics, matters arising from the one year anniversary and the 48th GLYA congress held in Damongo a couple of weeks ago.

The chief scribe of the NPP didn't only stop there he went on to further call on those slay queens making videos at the comfort of their rooms to visit Savannah region and see for themselves the development received under the Nana/Bawumia led NPP government. He admonished them not to stay at Accra and outside Ghana making videos on issues they are ignorant about.

He used the opportunity to remind those slay queens and one Kudus Gbeadese of the monumental development in Savannah Region. The Fulfulso-Bunjai Road, the Hospitals at Buipe, Sawla, and Bamboi, the Daboya-Mankarigu stretch of road, and many more.
