BREAKING NEWS: GARLUS ORDERS AGENTS TO CHALLENGE FULANIS

 


Hon. Garlus,  former Member of parliament for Damongo constituency and the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in Damongo agents at the Voter Registration Centers is challenging all Fulanis at the ongoing voter ID registration in the Damongo Constituency.

The agents representing the NDC and the Former MP for Damongo constituency Hon. Garlus has sparked controversy after it is alleged that they have been ordered to challenge all Fulanis who showed up at the ongoing voter registration in the Damongo constituency. The move has been condemned as discrimination and ethnocentric by various groups and individuals within the constituency.


Eyewitnesses at the registration center reported that agents of Hon. Garlus were specifically targeting individuals of Fulani descent, demanding extra documentation and questioning their eligibility to register. This has led to heated arguments and tensions at the center, with many accusing the former MP of trying to disenfranchise a particular ethnic group.
